Executive committee

We, the Executive committee, are elected by the general assembly. We have high social capital and extensive work experience in high positions at universities and companies. In Bangladesh, there is a large gap between people of high social capital and vulnerable children, youth and their families, so they rarely socialize. Vulnerable children and youth are often labeled troublemakers and seen as having lower value in our society. Therefore, we use our social capital to reduce the stigma children and youth from poor socio-economic conditions face. We see these children and youth as resources for our society, potential leaders and change agents. We listen, acknowledge them as persons and their achievements in EDS. We call and motivate them to stay on their new path towards a better future for them and others. The EDS change agents can call us any time they need. We are available and share our knowledge and expertise. We joined EDS because we feel inspired by the EDS children and youth’s ability to endure challenges and keep faith in their dreams that we can create a more humane world together. Feel free to contact us to know more!
