The challenge

It is important to keep our environment clean and hygienic. Lack of garbage bins and awareness often makes people throw their garbage in the streets.

Our response

Children learn from and copy what adults and people around them do. So the EDS change agents are role models who clean the EDS house, including the toilets, throw litter in the dustbins and clean the area surrounding the EDS house from litter together with the students.

Some EDS change agents sleep in the EDS house to keep it safe, maintain it and take care of the EDS equipment.

Results

The change agents and their students learn that we are all responsible to keep our environment clean and healthy, all are equal, and every job is respectable and important for our society.
